Abrasion and shocks cause significant wear of tungsten weights over time and make it necessary to find solutions capable of mitigating this deterioration while guaranteeing a high level of efficiency. In order to overcome this problem, we apply a thin layer of titanium nitride (5 µm thick) after the machining of our weights, which provides both a golden appearance, but also very good technical characteristics to protect and increase the surface hardness of the weight when it is subjected to friction/abrasion/shock.
